Minion Cake ♥

The Minion Cake has been my favorite goofy cake. It was the first fun cake I created. I made it for one of my cousin's birthday on August of 2016. My family and I were amazed to how it turned out. the look on their faces were priceless. My grandmother told me to be creative with it, to try and create a minion's face onto the cake. I thought it was going to be impossible and that it would not turn out the way I would have liked it to be but it turned out better than I expected. it was extremely fun to try and figure it out and I loved the results. Hopefully I get to make more these kinds of cake. Practice makes perfect.

Minnie Mouse Cake ♥

My recently last cake I decorated was a Minnie Mouse cake. This cake has been my absolute favorite cake. My customer wanted a about three dozen cupcakes, a dozen chocolate covered marshmallow pops, a dozen chocolate covered pretzels, and the small Minnie Mouse cake with Minnie’s head on the top. This cake put me to work, it was a fun and girly cake. My favorite part of the entire order were the mini Minnie Mouse cupcakes. They looked like little tiny Minnie mousses, I wanted to keep them for myself they were adorable. I challenged myself for this cake by covering the Minnie Mouse head with fondant. I wanted to practice on covering something like a cake with fondant. Every day, and every cake order I learn something new. This new journey ahead will teach me everything I need to know in baking and decorating cakes. I am sure looking forward to it. Cake Date: March 2017

Cake Full of Color ♥

The cake above, as you can see is full of color. All the colors stand out individually and together as a group. As a cake decorator, you should always go with what the customer wants, as strange as it may seem. Always leave them with good customer satisfaction and great service. When a customer talks to me about what type of decoration they would like on their cake I always let them know if I am skilled enough to give them what they want. I am not an expert at covering a cake with fondant. I can make simple decorations like bows or simple decals to make the cake look presentable and nice. If a customer shows me an example of the cake they want and I know I am not all that skilled in making what they want I always let them know what I can and cannot do or I find a solution for them. The key to it is to have a customer happy and satisfied. I do not tell them my weaknesses in cake decorating to drive them away from any service. I do it so that they know what they may expect from me....
